Have you ever experienced God's perfect PEACE?
About 1 year ago if you would have looked up the definition of a worry wart in the dictionary, my picture would have been right there. Growing up always wanting to plan out every step of my life is where it started innocently or at least I thought. I later found out that it was my natural over analyzing and need for control that wanted me to make sense of everything before moving. I was that person that 1 + 1 always had to equal 2 and if anyone told me differently, they were wrong. Well, if you know anything about God his way never adds up. This led to a big problem for me when it came to me being in his will, because I always needed to know step 1,2,3,4,5, and 6 before completing step 1. He would warn me over and over again to relinquish control and let him prove to me how good he was. So after years of tossing and turning in my sleep while my husband slept in peace next to me I got fed up. I cried out to God and asked him to give me his perfect peace that his word promised me I could have. Guess what? He did, but not until he gave me a test to prove to him I was ready to change my ways. I passed that test and from that day on worrying has not been my thing.
