Have you received your gift of Grace from God?
Grace is a gift from our Heavenly Father given through His Son, Jesus Christ. The word grace as used in the scriptures, refers primarily to enabling power and spiritual healing offered through the mercy and love of Jesus Christ.
I want to first apologize for the delay but as you know my birthday was on June 29th and than I celebrated my 9th year wedding anniversary on July 3rd with our vacation starting on July 4th. So it has been a lot going on to say the least.
But, I want to start this word of week posing a question. Have you received our gift of Grace from God?
As described in the biblical definition of Grace above, is is a gift that was given to us. This means that it is already yours, it has already been gifted but it is up to you to open the gift. I have found in a lot of my consulting sessions that a lot of us walk in continued condemnation and regret. Which is a clear indication that we have not opened one of the most precious gifts ever gifted to us from our father.
As described in 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, His grace is sufficient for us, his power is made perfect in our weakness. There is so many of us continuing to walk in bondage every single day to things and people God has already forgiven us for. Choose today to not only receive your gift but open that bad boy up and walk with your head held high that you are redeemed. Because he said you are and his word doesn't come back void.
Now, I do have to make this clarification. Our goal is to become a better version of ourselves every single day. So even with our grace we want to be making decisions to become a better us. But, one of the biggest lessons I have learned is that the likelihood of you being a habitual offender is heightened when you don't receive his grace and forgiveness. Also, that it was easier for me to receive his forgiveness when I knew what he was saying to me, about me. This tool helped me with that process and until midnight tonight it is on sale for only $15.
